I joined the Singapore Leg of Canon’s PhotoMarathon this year.
Participants are given 3 hours to submit a photo according to the given theme.
Theme 1: 9am-12am “Change”
Theme 2: 1pm-4pm “Dreams”
Theme 3: 5pm-8pm “Freedom”
It was surprisingly tiring scrounging up photo opportunity around Singapore. It was an every man for himself contest but we stick as a group to be able to conceptualize easier. Well, that was the idea. In the end, we just rely on our interpretation and execution of the themes.

Was able to join PinoyCSers for a nature trip in Pulau Ubin. It’s a ferry ride away from ‘Singapore main land’. The sky was clear and the cloud formations are great. Buti di nasayang ang pagbilad sa araw.
Nature tripping plus walkathon equals sunog at pawisan na AJ. Not sure if I’ll be back there in the near future. Not much too see other than foliage and sky.
Rest of the pictures are in my flickr account. Too lazy to cross post here.

Pen and I are sort of neglecting janep. With all the other social websites that we are engaged in, it’s kinda hard to update the site.
This Little India trip I had together with the Pinoy Photographers here was taken 2 weeks ago.
It’s been shared everywhere but not here. I just forgot to post it here.

I finally managed to upload pictures taken from the Bamboo Concert.
As expected, Bamboo was a high energy performer. He easily got the crowd to sing and jump with him.

They were on stage for about an hour and sang the songs below:

plus 2 encores: the second to the last song escapes me at the moment but the last one was “Masaya”.
They opened up with “Probinsyana” - which, if I’m not mistaken, is their latest hit. Surprisingly, they sang 5 Rivermaya songs: Elesi, Ulan, Kisapmata, 214 and Awit ng Kabataan. Not that I don’t like the songs, but I think they should have stuck with their own songs. No complains though. This is the first time I’ve watched Bamboo live and he can sing whichever song he like and I’ll still listen. Hearing those ‘old’ songs bring heart warming feelings that definitely put a smile on my face.
I was in front of Ira Cruz the whole time while Bamboo was hovering in the center stage.
