FrancisM has been uploading some songs in his multiply account but he would unshare it after a couple of days. Good thing that I was able to download some tracks from him.
One of which is ‘Rock the Casbah‘ song from his forthcoming album F-Word. The song is a Clash original and the FrancisM version is revolutionary. Rock-Alternative with a little speck of rap beat.
I also got a copy of the Clash original version so I would know how Francis transformed the song. Galing. It has been playing in my iPod for several days now and I can’t stop singing it in my head. I long for more FrancisM songs and the moment his album is sold in the market, I will buy one.

Since I have this recorder with me most of the time, and often record my thinking while walking or shopping, I took up this weird habit of recording myself singing as well, especially in those idle moments that I’m just sitting it out waiting for something to happen. I know not all people are interested in hearing some random person bawling out some random song. Aj proposed that I just send the url to anyone who asks for it, but well, I’m just too damn lazy. So after much thought (about 10 seconds) I decided to just go for it and post the url anyway. I really don’t care!

I need money for a cheap guitar. I really really want to brush up on my “skills”, and maybe record some stuff with accompaniment! =P I hung out with some Pinoys studying in USyd (Uni of Sydney) last week and they were jamming with some OPM songs and it made me miss those “good times” Anthony was talking about!
Feeling music artist! Hehe. I forgot how fun it is to sing just for the heck of it =)

Hey, it must be one of those TGIF times eh? Well, I hope everyone has a blast this weekend. I have mine planned out a bit, but it doesn’t involve any kind of social thing. Waaah, I’m turning into a hermit! Hehe. Nah, I just have tons to get ready for since I’m nearing a half year here. This afternoon, while waiting for a “thing” to happen I was so bored and cooked up this hummie version of Frou Frou‘s tune, Breathe In. It’s a cappella, so don’t expect it to be upbeat or anything like that.

Happy weekend everyone!
