Went to Lipa City, Batangas with PinoyPC guys for a photoshoot last Saturday. Since I don’t have a digital camera with me here in the Philippines, I borrowed Donato’s digital camera. Here are some pictures that I was able to take.

It’s also a DSLR-fest there. There were I think 4 guys who brought their uber cool cameras out of 8 or 9 guys. I am now seriously considering on buying one. Sigh. If only have money. Pero de, darating din tayo dyan.
I invited Donato and Ray to come with me but their hectic schedule prevented them from coming. Sayang. Ganda ng lugar kahit na medyo brownish na yung lupa dahil sa init. Sabi nung taga-roon, maganda raw bandang September or October.

Went on a trip to see the Three Sisters rock formation in the Blue Mountains of Katoomba NSW. Pity we only had roughly a day. More bushwalking would have been fun to do. But still, the company was awesome and it turned out to be a really nice time. I enjoy hanging out with these new-found cool people (Dana, Mitzi, Jot, etc) Ines introduced me to, and that made the time well-spent. Though I wouldn’t mind going back to Katoomba to do some more sightseeing. Some pics here:
The other day was in the city to see what the fuss is all about in Mardi Gras. I read a little bit about how it started so I wasn’t all too surprised when we got there and saw gays and lesbians flocking the streets in full colour. Pictures here (not for the faint-hearted):
I know, my photo-shooting has gone from bad to worse now. I’m having a hard time with the camera recently. Oh well. At least it works and helps me keep track of what goes on eh? So it’s not all that bad.
I’m so tired now. The weekend was fun but not relaxing at all. I went to Uni today feeling out of shape, and now I just have to hit the sack and recharge. See y’all soon.

It’s been awhile since my last entry here in janep. The past few weeks were loaded with activities and parties. Two weeks before Christmas and I already had 6 parties slash events that I attended. Of the 6, only 2 are non-liquor events and the other 4 were flowing with San Mig Lights and hard drinks. Let me just highlight some of them here in Janep.

Nung nakaraang Viernes, sa wakas ay nagkaroon ng panahon ang grupo na lumabas para kumain, parang huling hirit bago magPasko. Nagreserba kami ng puwesto sa isang Espaņol na kainan malapit sa isa sa mga sikat na beach, ang Bondi. Nakatutuwa naman at lahat ay nakarating! Eto ang ilan sa mga larawan namin noong gabing yun. The lab finally found time to go out to have dinner as a group, and we went to a Spanish restaurant near Bondi beach. Here are some pictures from last Friday.

I went to visit Joy in Canberra last week, and here are some pictures. Joy was a terrific host 
She took me around the city. I was only there for 24 hours (yes we counted, 4pm Sat to 4pm Sun) plus 6 hours total ride to and fro.

If you look closely at the Mt Ainsle picture you’ll see some people taking pictures at the foreground, left– I heard them speak and they’re Pinoys. Hehe. Kodakan at lakwatsa. Mejo madami akong nakita (at narinig) na Pinoy sa Canberra kesa sa Sydney. Sabi ni Joy libu-libo daw Pinoy doon, approx 4,000 out of 25,000 pop’n. tama ba Joy?)

SYDNEY: 30degreesC! Sarap siguro mag-beach today. The other time we went di ko talaga kinaya. Maski na maaraw, freezer cold ang tubig!
Kahapon nag-”mini-party” itong team namin. Ang sabi nila ay may pagkain kaya nagdala ako ng cake (topped with kiwi, strawberries, mango and peaches… sarap!). By food pala they meant biscuits, crackers, cheese and champagne. Ansarap ng keso! Mapapahilig yata ako kumain ng iba’t ibang klase dito. Yung kiwi naman eh ibang klase, ansarap pala kapag fresh na fresh. Parang manamis-namis at maasim-asim na strawberry. Pero mas gusto ko na sya kesa sa strawberry ngayon. My cake was a bit over the top! hehe. Pero simot din naman kasi ansarap.
Kagabi naman nagpunta kaming mga babae sa Bondi beach to eat fish! Naghati kami ni Petra sa Barramundi, tsaka sa mudcake with vanilla ice cream. MMmmmmmmm. Natapos kami kumain 10pm na yata. Andami kasi ng serving! Carlota, the new girl from Italy, ate soooo much food it was unbelievable. Tapos nung kinukuha ng waitress yung almost empty plate ng mud cake sabi nya “No no no no!” sisimutin pa kasi nya. Pero di sya mataba. Pretty pretty nga eh.
Ayun kaya mejo puyat ako ngayon. Maya-maya lalabas ako para ihatid si Karin sa airport. Nagkakadramahan na kagabi at magsisiuwian na ang mga Aleman.

Last Thursday, we watched SPIT performed at Mag:Net Bar in Katipunan. It was the 3rd time Pen and I watched their show. As expected, the whole show was a riot. They were complete too! It was sort of a send-off show for one of their member who will be going abroad.
