Time goes by in just a blink of eye.
We are often disturbed by small things throughout our path.
Learn to stop and savor the moment.
Celebrate life and enjoy the now.

The week that was

March 14th, 2009

While everybody were saying their piece about Francism’s departure, I thought of staying away from the fray and just be silent in my little corner and pray for his soul. It is truly a great loss but such is life. We have to accept it and move on.

After absorbing the initial shock and grief, I messaged my sister to buy me another FMCC clothing to commemorate the day. I thought of another polo shirt but what Au was able to buy was more fitting: a black button down short sleeved polo with the obligatory 3 stars and a sun in the left breast. It was only released a week before and not surprisingly supplies are running out as of this time.

FMCC Polo

This polo belongs to the first batch that was out in the market. Every FMCC supply is limited with very slim chance of making another batch. That’s why no matter how hard you try to find a previous design, it will be very very hard to find.

Thanks to Au for buying me this polo. A surprise from this polo was the included sticker decal of FrancisM.

I have yet to stick it somewhere and I am really eyeing to put it beside the apple.

Excuses and updates

March 3rd, 2009

As it were, it seems I cannot update the blog as often as I like (as in daily-photo-of-the-day-entry). Work has caught up with me and some personal commitments during the weekends. I’ve attended (and covered!) two weddings here in Singapore. The first one was a friend of mine, their wedding was a simple exchange of vows in their home. I’ve yet to upload their pictures in my flickr but I do have the video collage right here. The second was an intimate restaurant wedding held in Sentosa. I get to shoot with a former officemate of mine and we were able to capture the moments of the wedding. Again, I have yet to upload these weddings to my flickr.

Speaking of which, I finally bought my Pro account in flickr. I bit the bullet last night and I think it will be all worth it! Prior to buying the pro account, I have maxed out the number of uploadable images in the free flickr account. And since I wanted to maintain it as my online portfolio, I bought a 2 yr subscription. Now I am planning to move my images to flickr and continue to organize and maintain it.

I have tons of pictures to upload in the next few days. I’ll do it slowly but surely. For the meantime, I’ll leave you with some Sandwich.
