Computer Chair

Bought a Computer Chair a few weeks ago from Ikea. Every furniture bought in Ikea is a DIY kind. So the consumers are expected to build their own chair, table, cabinet, drawers and even bed frames.
So, I started with these:
and ended up with this:
Successful! Hehe. First chair I have assembled in my entire life. Now I only need a table to match the chair.

COngrats on the chair! I wish I also had one. My back hurts when I work from home. One reason why it’s good to work in the office where there is a free good chair to use.
i’ve never been to IKEA Homebush (Sydney), but AJ brought me to see IKEA in Singapore. I’ve obviously not bought anything from IKEA, but I’ve had my share of ‘assembling’ furniture.
computer desk – eventually given away
bookshelf – also given away
shelf with doors -again, given away
electric fan – left with the same person i gave the shelves and desk
whiteboard on wheels – in the lab
corner table – here in my room
It could be fun to assemble. Though sometimes it gets frustrating. It was especially hard with the bookshelf coz it was huge! Much taller than me! And to top it off, I had made a mistake in the order of how the pieces fit, and had to take it apart! ARRGH!
