Pillar candle

I found this beautiful store called Dusk in Bondi Junction yesterday, and by gracious I so loved it! I’ve had my share of scent-shopping in the Philippines, and it is easy to find quite good products. But it was a surprise to find a candle store that I actually loved here!
This candle I got yesterday was divine! All worth the fortune =) I never thought I’d give up on tea lights to infuse oils so easily. I just never had the right candle to burn I guess. A really good scented candle and a match to strike to light it.
I love essential oils. I’m happy about these candles that are formulated with the oils, it’s a wonderful experience to light one and just go ‘aaaaaaah, that smells fantastic!’. On a totally quirky note, a weird thing about lavender is that it is thought to inhibit particular male hormones and mimic female hormones… so see what it does to men in this BBC article.] But don’t be scared off! There are other herbal oils that are just as good as lavender! Rose is a close second to my favorites..
When the wick on the lavender candle burns out I’m lighting this one next:
I am excited! Sniffing this candle was soooo good, though I must admit I was torn between getting this one and the Rose+Tangerine. I wasn’t sure if I would like tangerine, since burning citrus or mint candles haven’t been too good to my liking…

I loved the pink one (germanium-lavender), hindi ko maitapon yung drippings, ambango-bango!
The red one (stawberry shake) was all right, pero something about it felt empty. Siguro kasi scent lang sya, hindi tulad ni pink na aromatherapy candle.
