Anne and Dax gave us a list of questions that we would answer. The list is rather long but we enjoyed answering them and hopefully you’ll enjoy reading ‘em til the end.

Q: Are you looking forward to Valentine?s Day?
AJ: Honestly not that much. It’s way too commercialized for me nowadays.

In your experience, what do you think are the main ingredients for a successful relationship?
Trust. Honesty. Communication.

What’s your definition of love?
You can’t really define love unless you experience it. It’s like magic.

Technically, being together for a certain period of time. It’s being there for the other person.

Tough one.
honestly, i can’t remember right now

What’s the most romantic thing you’ve done to your partner?
every little thing counts.
sent him letters everytime i could, even little notes

What’s the most romantic thing your partner has done to you?
Gusto ko yung time na pinagbabaon nya ko ng lunch nung nag-start na kong mag-work sa makati. Kasi kailangan nya gumising ng una sa akin para makapagsaing at magluto ng babaunin ko.

When was the first time you said “I love you” to each other?
Does via a letter counts? Nauna yung sulat bago verbal.

Every time we text each other. Over the phone. Every time we are together.

Hard to pinpoint. Prolly the first time I rode the bus with her. Gusto kong i-count yun.

were laughing a lot, di kasi sya sanay magbyahe sa southbound na bus
Talk. She was hospitable enough to introduce me to the surrounding I am not familiar with.

How do you spend time with each other?
Lately, watch dvds. Just bum around.
We are too lazy to go to the malls to do the ‘usual’ stuffs.
shop for toys, comic books; watch movies, tv series; play board games

What are your terms of endearment?
Cupcake, Hunny.

How do you spend Valentine’s Day?
Nothing special. Sometimes we even skip it.

We don’t go with the flow..

How do you spend your anniversary?
Ano nga ba? dinner date?
we try to find new ways, like out-of-town sightseeing, or eating-out at overpriced restos

What’s your dream get-away?
Beach. Relaxing. Full body massage. Jacuzzi/Spa.

hehe, just for funny thoughts
nothing seriously. basta lista lang ng lista.

Do you remember special anniversaries (first date, etc.)?
generally yes. we do away with the obscure ones.
during the first years madami-dami pa, ngayon di na masyado. yung super speical na lang
tapos yung binibigay sa akin ni pen na planner, may maliliit na stickers dun sa mga special dates.
pano ko ba naman di maalala yun?
isa lang yun eh
marami kaya.

When buying major purchases, do you consider if she / he would approve?
oo hehehe
If pen would ask my approval, more often than not, i will disapprove of it. Kaya madalas, di na nya ako tinatanong.
which is okay with me.
ako minsan ko lang sya tanungin kasi sure naman na papayag sya.
syempre pag sya bumibili di na ako umaangal, kasi bihira naman bumili si ajay. pipilitin ko pa

Do you miss him/her, even when she/he’s in the next room?
yups

Have you ever taken a class together just so you could spend more time with them?
sort of. we would arrange our skeds so that we could be classmates.
well, not really the same classes, but ww used to fit our schedules so we can have the same free time. bonus na lang kung maging magkakalase

Have you written him/her a poem?
not yet. am not good in words.

haha. saktong tanong.
minsan. it’s more of a gut feeling, where you almost know how the other person will respond to something, kasi aware ka na sa thought and feeling patterns nya.
minsan magkikikta kami sa shaw pero di pa definite kung saan,.
nagulat na lang ako na katabi ko sya sa drinks section ng 7-11 kasi pareho kaming nauuhaw.
same pa ata kukunin namin na drink nun.
parang ‘o, andito ka rin pala’ hehe

Have you ever told him/her that you love him/her in front of your friends?
i don’t know. I don’t think so.
im not sure, pero duh, obvious ba hehe

Have you ever just sat and listened to his/her problems?
yes. more than once.

Ever bought tickets to a function (movie, play, show, etc) you had no interest but she/he did?
alam ko meron, di ko lang maalala.
ako bumili ng gusto mo pero ayaw ko? wala ako maalala
parang after watching the event, in the end, nagustuhan naman namin pareho.
tulad nung SPIT sa UP, sabi ko maganda yun pero wala syang alam kung ano sya, pero pagkatapos ng show gusto na agad namin manuod ng susunod nilang show.

Have you ever found yourself scribbling his/her name with hearts and love on the side of a piece of paper, a desk, or other?
hahahahaha

haha. nahuli pa nga ako ni anna baluyot sa physics class eh.

Do you save little items (movie ticket stubs) from dates or outings?
si pen mas pack rat sa akin. alam ko meron, di ko lang ma-enumerate.

yung unang nagtimbang tayo sa timezone, natago mo pa yun?
pati yung ticket ata ng the matrix sa bagong bukas ng glorietta 4? yun lang naalala ko.
oo, pero sobrang pangit na nya, naitapon ko na

Have you given him/her flowers or stuffs he/she likes for no apparent reason? (just d thought of giving him/her something brings a smile in your face).
i know we do that
yes. kahit fishball lang. hehe
minsan dinalhan ko sya ng taho sa tirahan nya sa UP nung pinuntahan ko sya.

Have you ever dedicated a song for him/her on the radio?
hahaha… no
no. hehe. di ko ata kayang makipaglokohan kay chico and delamar.
tsaka magkaiba kami ng station.

Do you find it harder to shop for her/him than for anyone else?
oo naman.
yups
kaya nga ngayon, nag-wi-wishlist na kaming dalawa.
o kaya gift for both of us types na.
hehe, practicality reasons naman yung wishlist

Do you ever fantasize about marrying him/her (or often daydream back to the day you did)?
lahat naman ata ng serious couples dumadaan dun.

Have you ever “zoned out” during a conversation with someone or when you?re doing something because you were thinking of him/her?
dati… ngayon di pwede, magmumukha naman akong walang kwentang guro nyan
nothing that I can remember. medyo intense/focuses akong tao eh.

What do you relish without restraint?
lol, it’s a vague question

umm, I want the world. hehe
siguro…. we splurge on things that make us happy. as much as our pesos can afford
true. maliliit na bagay pero tunay na nakakapagsaya sa amin.
na-we-weirduhan na nga siguro yung iba sa amin kasi toys, comics, dvd, board games, ps2 ang mga gusto namin.
that’s what they see. of course it doesn’t mean that’s all we want

What is one thing that you are dying to do but would never do?
mga dangerous stunts? hehe. tipong extreme sports.
hmmm…. it’s a secret

What’s your stance on:
Flirting
as long as it’s harmless, i gues it’s okay. and you should know your limit.
it plays on the edge of disrespect to your boyfriend/girlfriend

Pre-marital sex
as long you know how to face the consequences.
flirting is not okay for me. hands down, it ought to be clear you’re not available, di ba

Pre-marital sex
pms is a moral issue; i may say im against it, but dont place judgment on people who disagree
as long you know how to face the consequences.

Birth control methods
the country definitely needs that.
i’m all for it
birth control is for intelligent people.
mas kailangan nga yun ng mga uneducated people who keep on contributing to the population eh.
kaya nga. birth control is a concept that is understood only by the wise

Cheating
unless di mahuli, okay lang. haha
j/k. syempre hindi.
nothing justifies cheating. you never really know how bad it is unless you’ve done it at least once. the guilt and payback is humbling. if you get away with it and do no retribution, it’s likely to be a way of life.

public display of affection
from a male viewer’s perspective, i’m all for it. hehe
as the one doing it, i want to keep my private life private.
ayoko ng garapalan.
showing you are important to each other in public shoos away the wanna-bes, though the downside would attract the honeybees
nice one.

annulment
i try to keep an open mind on this.
but this should be the very last resort and that both parties will be favorable of this.
if justifiable, i agree. if a marriage is dead, why continue to fake life?
